Description

Fully remanufactured transmission featuring the BD Valve Body! The BD Valve Body has many modifications to improve shift quality and extend transmission life. The valve body is equipped with a new heavy-duty governor pressure solenoid as well as an upgraded pressure transducer kit with twice the burst pressure as stock. The RoadMaster transmission also includes a deep sump oil pan for increased fluid capacity and cooling. Every 48RE RoadMaster transmission comes packaged with a BD ProForce Torque Converter.

TRANSMISSION

  • Upgraded BD Valve Body
  • Upgraded governor solenoid
  • Upgraded governor pressure transducer (47RE/48RE) - Twice the burst pressure than stock
  • Increased line pressure to 190-200psi
  • No shuttle shifting problems
  • Clutch Count: DIRECT 5 (same as OE)
  • Clutch Count: FORWARD 4 (same as OE)
  • Clutch Count: OD 5 (same as OE)
  • Clutch Count: OD DIRECT 10 (same as OE)
  • Billet band strut
  • BD deep sump oil pan with magnetic drain plug
  • Cooler line case saver in every transmission
  • Every transmission is tested on a dyno
