• High-Temperature Processing: Blocks are processed in a high-temperature oven to remove all oil and gasket residue.
• Steel Shot Blasting: Blocks are steel shot blasted and cleaned to meet our strict inspection standards.
• Precision Boring and Resurfacing: Blocks are expertly bored and the deck resurfaced on our Hurco machine, typically to +.020 over stock.
• CNC Honing: Blocks are CNC honed to Cummins spec with a torque plate.
• Main Bearing Clearance: Measured with stock or aftermarket fasteners, and line honed as needed.
• Cam Bushing Installation: New cam bushing installed after machining.
• State-of-the-Art Cleaning: Final wash and clean using our custom parts washer with high-pressure water nozzles and cleaning agents.
